Nature Trail Lessons Begin

Today the students began their first full day of nature trail lessons. Some groups hiked up to the creek to study Riparian ecosystem's animals and plants. Others went down to the beach to hunt for ocean organisms and two groups trekked up Ice Cream Mountain.

Ice Cream Mountain

Today two of the groups hiked up Ice Cream Mountain, also known as the ropes trail. The view is beautiful and the students got a great workout! Once they got to the top they ate lunch on the trail and had various nature lessons on the top of the mountain.

Dance Night and Night Hike

Tonight, half of the students will be going on a night hike with their naturalists to gaze at the stars and experience astronomy. The rest of the students will be learning different line dances at dance night and getting their groove on!
